Really enjoyed our time in the Hidden Suite. My other half was a bit creeped out by the art on the walls but I assured him he’d be just fine ? Comfortable bedding and well-kept. Quite a cute place to stay. No problems with housekeepers. Just be mindful of the stairs. Thanks so much for a great place to stay!

What a gorgeous place! Our room (the Willow) was beautifully appointed and the bed so comfortable. The are a few cozy nooks in the common areas to curl up with a book and a cup of coffee. They have a small bar that stays open til 9:00 pm that serves seasonal craft cocktails and top shelf brands. Nice wine list, too. Nice selection of breakfast choices--there's something for everyone.The staff was so friendly, responsive, and well organized. Cute shops and restaurants you can walk to. I especially appreciated how clean the inn is.

We stayed in the Hydrangea Room at the White Birch B&B and the innkeeper, Roslyn, was very nice and welcoming. Before we even arrived, she communicated details about our room, breakfast for the next morning, and was very accommodating around dietary needs. The breakfasts were delicious and creative. The building and the rooms are quaint and small - if you're looking for spacious rooms and carefully curated & austere interior designing, you'd be better off in a regular hotel, but if you like a place with personality this is a great choice. We're already thinking about more reasons to visit the area so we can stay here again!

My husband and I are on a week vacation with this being our first stop and it has been the best stay ever! We are in the sun room it is so clean and nice and cool to beat the heat and the bed is so comfortable! Check in was a breeze! Vary quiet area which I love! And the breakfast the absolutely amazing! Roslyn who is cooking has so much Passion for it and a great conversation! She makes the morning feel so energetic and i love it and she shares all the little things that are going on around for locals so you don't miss it if your interested!!! 5/5 service.

The White Birch was exactly what we were hoping for during our weekend trip to Berwick. We stayed in the Rose room which was very comfortable (large, comfy king bed with very soft pillows and sheets) though a little dated. Roslyn the Innkeeper was undoubtedly the highlight of the place. She was extremely welcoming and fun to chat with, provided us with delicious freshly cooked breakfast, and was easy to communicate with despite our late arrival time. Next time we are in the area we will definitely be staying at the White Birch (as long as Roslyn is still there).

Stayed for 3 nights in the Rose room which was very nice, clean, warm and with a comfortable king bed.||The Inn Keeper check with us every day to ensure we had everything that we needed and to get our breakfast request.||We'll definitely stay here again and would highly recommend!

Our experience was a complete and frustrating waste of $270. We arrived to a dirty room, which made me question the integrity of the cleanliness of the entire establishment. Their “new” cleaning person ignored obvious food waste encrusted on surfaces and the previous occupant’s leftovers in the fridge, so I imagine they will cut other corners if they can get away with it. There were multiple dead bugs in windowsills, stains on the rug, and I can only imagine used sheets that the “new cleaning person” couldn’t be bothered to change. Innkeeper apologized and offered a “similar” room with a pullout couch as the second bed. We kindly declined and decided to find other accommodations. There was NO communication about cancellation policy (nothing listed on their website when booking OR when confirmation email was received), and they did not communicate that we would still be charged if we chose to forego using their filthy room.
They charged me the full amount for a 2-night stay and refused to reimburse it. They justified this behavior with the excuse of “per our policy” which is asinine, because their policy is arbitrary. If their character is thus, it’s to be expected that when you visit and find hairs or mold in your breakfast, they will simply shrug, offer an empty apology and take your money anyway. What do you expect in a crummy, ramshackle little town like Berwick? This establishment should crumble within the year, with service like this.
Unfortunately when they cheat you out of your money, it’s not in order pay a decent cleaning person who can do their job appropriately.

We were delighted to stay, again, at the White Birch Inn in Berwick, on a trip to see family. We normally travel to Berwick in the winter and during this recent visit during a heat wave, we found the air conditioning to be a welcome comfort in the well-maintained room we had requested. I always look forward to the treats waiting for us a the White Birch and upon our arrival, I was not disappointed by the muffins and banana bread. We look forward to our next stay.
